My research mainly focuses on the ecology and distributional patterns of parasites and pathogens. I am especially interested in potentially zoonotic diseases and vector-borne pathogens. Currently, my work explores the effect of anthropogenic activities on the diversity and distribution of invasive mosquitoes and mosquito-borne diseases.
Additionally, I have been working on bats and associated parasites and pathogens since 2012.
