I study the effects of grassland restoration and vegetation managements on small mammal assemblages, and the effects of reed management actions on wetland birds and their functional groups. I also investigate the life history, habitat selection and reproduction of the Great Reed Warbler Acrocephalus arundinaceus. Furthermore, I study the effects of vegetation management on the reproduction success in the Great Reed Warbler in human-made wetland habitats. Finally I am interested in studying the movement pattern, feeding and wintering strategies of common birds (tits Paridae, Sparrowhawk Accipiter nisus) in urban areas.
